INTRODUCTION

GMAX-EOS2 is a GPS receiver specially designed for Canon EOS. It automatically records location data and direction as EXIF information to each photo or video when shooting.

Bluetooth Shutter Release function is ready

The GMAX-EOS2 is an upgrade of GMAX–EOS. The improvement is the Bluetooth equipped which can establish wireless connections to mobile, and you can use it as a wireless remote to control camera focus and shutter release.

Build in Altimeter Barometer
Two kinds of altitude data provided, one is from GPS, other is from barometric altimeter. Altitude from barometric altimeter can be adjusted and calibrated, which ensure the altitude more accurate.

Indoor location
Re-use the last location information (Latitude, Longitude) when there is no signal. The Altitude, Direction and UTC time are real time running by built-in sensors

Full charge supports more than 18 hours of continuous work.

Auto working mode
Choosing Auto working mode, GMAX-EOS2 is on / off follows camera's on / off.

Stand-alone GPS logger
4GB memory supports more than 170 days continuous log record at the interval of 1 sec. User copy or delete log files like an "U flash driver".

Hot shoe or USB terminal connectivity
It connects to camera via special USB spiral cable when use an external Flashlight. Another way is simply mounted on camera's hot shoe.

GPS Time Sync
Camera time can be synchronized to UTC provided by GPS.
